We are already in 2016 and we are her to remember the top 10 games of 2015 that have won a place in our hearts. We gave our flavor of review to each of them.  Let us know if your game deserved to be on the list!!

10.Fallout 4

Top 10 Games of 2015
Studio: Bethesda Game Studios
Company: Bethesda Softworks
Platforms: Windows, PS4, Xbox One
Rating the top 100 is always interesting , tense and whatever you want. Why is ‘Fallout 4’ so far from number one?, may be the first question you get. Well, it is not because Fallout 4 is bad,but others are even better. The latest installment of the series is infact Bethesda’s another milestone because many gamers instantly fell in love with Fallout 4. This is our personal favorite too.

Studio: Nintendo EAD Group No. 2
Company: Nintendo
Platforms: Wii U
Ay, ‘Splatoon’, what great times we are passing. It was Nintendo which made online shooters lovable with their calamari and their paintings of colors. This is a delight: fun, with personality, with monthly events, with free content every time… Long live ‘Splatoon’.

8.Nuclear Throne

Nuclear Throne
Studio: Vlambeer
Company: Vlambeer
Platforms: Windows, Mac, Linux, PS4, PS Vita, Xbox One
Vlambeer. If you have not done so already, learn the name of this independent Studio. And get all their games, because they are all pure dynamite. ‘Nuclear Throne’ just came out and boom, direct to the eighth position in our top 10 games of 2015.

7.Xenoblade Chronicles X
Studio: Monolith Soft
Company: Nintendo
Platforms: Wii U
Another great RPG well designed and clear in it’s thoughts. And another big game for the Wii U. Grande in every way, because this is that kind of a game which requires hundreds of hours to complete it 100%. One of the most interesting role-playing games of the year.

6.Super Mario Maker
Studio: Nintendo EAD Group No. 4
Company: Nintendo
Platforms: Wii U
Why limit yourself to only playing the same old mario levels when you can actually design a whole new level and post it to the community to make it official. Ofcourse, you can always try levels created by other players around the globe and they are crazy as hell!!

Studio: FromSoftware
Company: Sony Computer Entertainment
Platforms: PS4
Yes, there is another RPG in the top 5. But it is that FromSoftware made tremendous sucess with ‘Bloodborne’. What a wonderful thing to get lost in the streets of Yarnham and give some bullets to all those ugly bugs. Hours and hours of fun in a very full and complex game that knows how to be grateful for the good player and very bloody which does not give the trouble to play well.

4.Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain
Studio: Kojima Productions
Company: Konami
Platforms: Windows, Xbox 360, PS3, PS4, Xbox One
If you’re pulling your hair to not see ‘Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain’ in our top 10, bad luck. But Kojima has been taken out of his sleeve, a real great game nobody doubted to be bad. The jump to the open world has gone well and both the freedom and the possibilities offered by the game to focus on the missions are very grateful. Will it be the last ‘Metal Gear’ of Hideo Kojima? Now yes.

3.Rise of the Tomb Raider

Rise of Tomb Raider
Studio: Crystal Dynamics
Company: Square Enix
Platforms: Xbox 360, Xbox One
Surely someone at Team Kotaku will be wondering how it is that ‘Rise of the Tomb Raider’, by very good that is, has been able to be our third best game of the year and not first. Ah, but it is that when one accepts the rules, things are as they are. The new adventures of Lara have convinced us. Truly deserving game.

2.ORI and the Blind Forest

Ori and the blind forest
Studio: Moon Studios
Company: Microsoft Studios
Platforms: Windows, Xbox One
Yes, friends, ‘ Ori and the Blind Forest’ is so darn good as it seems and by very little, lost the first place. If it has failed it is because he had a very serious rival. But the game is one of the best visually spectacular and simple one. All the ages can give it a try.

1.The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt

The Witcher 3
Studio: CD Projekt RED
Company: CD Projekt
Platforms: Windows, PS4, Xbox One
So yes, ‘ The Witcher 3: The Wild Hunt’ is our brand new number one, the game of the year for Kotaku and, surely, for many of you. CD Projekt RED has done very well: with history, with the gameplay, with the characters, with fans, with the content, and we already told you, we like role-playing games.
