We will explain how to listen a voice note on WhatsApp before sending it. Usually, when you are making a voice note on WhatsApp it is sent automatically when you finish doing it, and it does not give you time to listen to it before sending it.
However, there is a way to avoid this automatic sending by playing with the application system so that you do not lose the voice note if someone calls you while you are dictating it. The only thing you have to do is leave the conversation while you dictate the voice note for WhatsApp to save it and you can review it before sending it. Here we explain step by step how you can do it.
Listen to the voice note before sending it
The first thing you have to do is select the conversation in which you want to send the message and press and hold the microphone button to start recording the voice note. You can keep it pressed or slide your finger up so it stays recorded without keeping your finger.
The next step is same. Press and hold the microphone button (1) to continue recording the note or slide towards the padlock, and while you continue recording the voice note press the back button (2) with the back arrow you have on the top right.
It is very important that press the back button while pressing the record button of the voice note do not stop recording while you leave the conversation. WhatsApp will keep the voice note, and now you have to select the conversation in which you were recording it.
If you did everything right, when you come back you should see the message player at the bottom of the screen. There click on the play button to listen the voice note, the trash icon is to delete it, and the green icon is to send the voice note.
